While the jury is still out, there are a number of North American Indian traditions which recount legends of giant stiff-legged beasts which would never lie down, had a big head and large leaf-like ears, round footprints, forward-bending knees, and had a fifth appendage coming out of its head.
We are happy to discuss any and every topic and question. We will give wide berth to a variety of opinions and ideas. The only thing we ask is that you return the favor by respecting our right to believe as we do and by not issuing lengthy, inflammatory diatribes meant to shock and confuse anyone not familiar with LDS teachings. They can certainly get that elsewhere. :)
I wish I could find the story that follows: in the mid to late 1600's there was a lost European who wandered the jungles of central and/or south America. When he was found he was talking about seeing elephants and creatures that were nto supposed to be in the Americas. The rescuers thought lost man was delusional and that he, the lost man, thought he was in Africa again because of the elephant comments.
